Drove a Cobalt Sedan

Drove a Cobalt Sedan
I drove the sedan today, didnt have jack on it besides an automatic tranny. First of all, I like the room, and the seats are rather nice. I tapped on the radio to just check it n snapped it off quick, expecting it to suck. Well, itdoesnt, for a stock system, its got some thump. I pulled it out, and it feels small when it drives, which i like. The rear view is nice, and the B-pillars dont block your vision. Its got some umph to it, but you dont feel the acceleration. On my current car when you jam the gas, you get a little lurch, this you dont. At all. The exhaust is all you hear, with a decent growl for stock. You dont hear the engine, and minimal wind noise. steering is nice, but braking you gotta PUSH the brake pedal, cant just rest on it. But its nice and fast, smooth ride, little bit of body roll, but the sport suspension on the coupes will be better. My main competitor for this car is the tC. So when I drive the coupe, maybe itll blow it away. I hope the SS (non-supercharged) wont be too much, cuz that 170hp sounds nice. . .
PS: if you havent drove a tC, do it. Its not the BEST car ever but its damn nice for the price. And Cobalts n tCs are so damn sexy (to me). I hate decisions

I really like the look of the tC's, but I have yet to see a SCION dealership. I think I heard that there is no SCION in Canada. That wouldn't make a lot of sense from Toyota's point of view though, as Canadians generally prefer compacts more than Americans do.

I just bought a base sedan, auto/cruise are the only options. radio is pretty decent for a stock radio, was pretty surprised. Peppy, but you really have to get in it with the auto to make her scoot real good. (see room for computer upgrade here to firm up shifts). Brakes are good, but you do actually have to Press the brake pedal to get it to slow down fast.
Handles great, tracks real nice and corners with out a ton of body roll. pretty nice car for the price. Wish I could afford the sportier models, but i am very happy with the car. wouldn't call the base sedan "sporty" but I would allow it "slightly spirited" :P

I drove one yesterday...ended up buying an Ultra Silver LS Sedan with the Pioneer Sound System, fully tinted windows, dealer installed 18" wheels w/Nitto's. Really decent car...looking to up the power a little just because I can't leave any car alone.
