Cause auto's suck. Plain and simple.

With all my mods now I'm making 136whp.

I have a chart in my car so I'll take a pic of it when I get home from work.

Our auto trannys were designed for V6's so theres a good chance that since they are beefier than a 4t40e they suck more power. I still have trouble beating an eco powered sunflower with an auto tranny even after all my mods... I dunno why ..

True, and there aren't many other mods you can do without going F/I or nitrous. Personally I feel the SS/SC exhaust components are just right fo our cars, the aftermarket stuff that is also used by the SC's may sound good but I have yet to see evidence they make better power on a 2.2 then the SS/SC parts.

Whata re your future plans for mods?

i make 127.2hp and 139.5trq, only thign that sucks was that they didnt have a fan blowing infront the car, so i call bs at it being 100% accurate, i am looking for a better place to dyno at, one that will put a blower in front he car, my mods are cai, lsj complete exhaust, and ttr trany mounts

Pretty good numbers too.

With the 2.4L intake manifold I made an extra 6 peak hp.

You should look into this mod if you are not gonna go F/I.

i will get the 2.4 mani swap, just that right now my money is going towards getting my body kit painted, which ima be doin later next week, after that i will have the money to get the manifold

hey so i was wonderin about a nitrous kit for the 2.2's i got cold air and exhaust would a fogger kit even be safe to run ?

damn all those mods and your still not close to 150 whp. after all that you only gained about 20 wph. im in the same boat as you, i have an auto 2.2 and im definately reconsidering doing any more performance mods at all cuz it all doesnt seem worth it to me. all that cash and not a whole lot to show for it....
