When I put it on the first time, I realized I had the MAF backwards. I had tried cranking the car but it was dying as soon as I started it. I had to turn the tubing around so the MAF was facing the right way. Then I disconnected the battery so it could reconfigure itself. After we switched the tubing around, all was great. No cutting, and the only fabricating I did was a bracket so there wouldn't be metal-to-metal contact bewtween the tubing and the body.

Well guys, as promised, here's some pics of the "JDM e-Bay intake" on my car. Sorry it took so long to get the pics on here.

I just got the windows tinted too and it looks ALOT better.

I was just wondering if everyone else who has bought on came with a "blitz" also. I dont know if its the same company, but I thought "blitz" made higher end japanese perfomance products?

Is it this "blitz" or another?

Well, ****. I'd show you guys the auction listing, but as previously mentioned, for some reason the guy's account said "no longer a registered user" and it's been over 30 days. The auction listed it as a blitz filter, and I thought it was the same as xponential is talking about, but I don't think it is. I didn't examine the filter too much, but it didn't noticably have the Blitz logo on it. I should've taken pics of it before I installed it, sorry guys. But it fit well, and I have no CEL's. I also have a noticable slight hp gain, and I can definitely hear it now. After shipping, it came out to be $86. I just looked on e-Bay to see if someone else was selling them. I see a bunch for the 2.0, but none for the 2.2. It was like that when I was looking for mine, you just have to keep an eye out, they come around occasionally. If you see it, ****** it up quick. I used "buy-it-now". If you type in the search you're looking for, you can save the search and e-Bay will e-mail you daily of all new listings that fall under that search. I do that for springs and short-throws. I think the short-throw will be my next mod.

What is the measurement on the replacement filter?

What is the measurement of the necessary replacement filter on an eBay intake?
