there is a nut you have to take loose to get the factory intake out and the new intake tube will bolt to that. give me a few minutes and 'll get a pic of it.

ok here's a pic of where it bolts to the wall.

it will fit an 08, make sure to check if you have SAI (check sticky in 2.2L section),

if you have SAI, get a small breather filter from an auto parts store for the line from the header.

You will be fine.

Does fit an 08. Nothing changed at all from 07-08. Only difference is interior. WILL WORK mine is on its way here. Im soo excited i feel like im two.

Whats should i do next ground effect kit includes:
19169549 Ground Effects Package Ultra Silver Metallic 95U, Lower body ground effects package... Will include Spoiler

or should i go with:

17802111 Exhaust System by GM Performance Exhaust System, Catalytic Converter Back Single Rear Exit

Anyone have any better ideas? Preferably CHEAP wife gets the checks. So the cheaper the better.

Thanks

Just got mine the other day. Very fast shipping. All the clamps were too small though, and they didn't sent me a mount so i had to make my own.

Had to make my own mount.

Breather for the SAI

I was going to, but it kinda keeps the engine cleaner. By the way when you guys installed your intakes was your throttle valve open a little?

I removed my stock intake setup to see what the TB looked like and yes, the valve is open a little. I thought it was something weird as well, but it's perfectly normal.

Thanks for checking. Yeah, just go to the hardware store. It only cost me a buck and some change to make my own mount.

well i just ordered one...again...i sold the first one i had bought back when it was only known on ebay...sold for 85 back than...i believe theres only 8 left now...funny thing i only want it for the bends it makes, if you look at my sig, you will see this helps me with the whole engine bay piping and 1/2 of the inner fender piping, not to mention i get to use it for the MAF flange on it
