Well, I know not to expect too much from this kit, but this is terrible. I also can look past the fact i didn't get a filter I wouldn't use anyway, but the hose clamps do not fit any of the hose connectors plus the hose conncectors are exactly the same size as the pipe so nothing fits together at all. I guess I will make it work, but i am just upset about nothing working at all.

Are u talking about everything lining up and the pipes fitting in the rubber tubes? If so I had to use a lubricant (oil) and it turned and slid in beautifully for a while till i set it up.

I noticed u do have to work with it some. It does like to fight. Sorry to hear about ur filter

Hang in there on the install it took me 2 hours of figuring things out. Then again I like to be a perfectionist on somethings. O btw u would need to get a longer hose for the one that is in the middle I needed an xtra 3 inches

I just peeled off the remaining crap in the tube. I did not have to file. It was a tight fit tho.

has quality gone down sincei last bought one? i bought one back when they re-surfacedon ebay after dissappearing for so long, so i guess i would call it their second coming, mine came in, MAF slot was perfect, piping was perfect, and the coupler all fit fine, only the 90* one was a bitch to put on the throttle body, yeah the clamps they sent were hard to tighten, but i didnt use a flat head, i used a rachet and a 8mm socket, that screw put up no fight against that, no way a flat head was going to tighen it all the way, i dont mind if mine comes with a filter, id just throw it away anyway i have a AEM and a K&N in my garage id rather replace it with

ps- i sold my last one, and now i am waiying for it to arive again, i orderedit sunday and i just recieved a email today that my order has been pricess;d so im waiting for a tracking number or something, as i have not gotten one yet

yea there skills on follow up are not up to par. I did call them and within 2 days i received everything. Had a tracking number and everything it was pointless to try and track. By time i was able to see where it was at it was already in my house.

They are cheap and the product is well cheap too. However you do get what you pay for and for me. There product was perfect. Nice sound, nice look, and cheaper then everything else i have seen out there including my discounts with GM

well i called jdm today, just to see about a filter until i get an aem filter, and as i was talkin to the guy he said it doesnt come with a filter, and that i could pick one up anywheres for about three dollars. Watchin the site, he changed it to, this doesnt come with a filter, and then he told me i could send it back or get a three dollar discount...so now i debate what exact filter i need for this

you ask me, they are ******** at this place, and need to learn more about some customer service

i got mine about 2 weeks ago

(with filter)

had to file down maf slot, and had to get larger clamps, and fight with the couplers a bit, all in all not bad for what it was.

I bought this set up off ebay like 2 years ago. It was the first mod I ever did to my car. Its a really good product for the price. Just slapped a K&N filter on it. It sounds great.
