Does it actually go down into the bumper? Just wondering how easy it will be to remove if I need to when I take it in for oil changes.

Subject: RE: cold air intake

Hello Chris

The cold air intake will not void the warranty. The GM ones should be around the same price as the after market ones and work as good or better, come in to the store and see us, and we will give you a price on the intake and the job if you would like. If you would like to bring the after market one in to have installed by us that is ok too, or if you want to show myself what you are putting on and get the info on warranty come in and see me

Rick Keirstead
This is what I got when I emailed my dealership.

yeah i was told not to long ago that the only way they could void your warranty for an intake of different filter was if they supplied you with free filters when you need em..

Mine finally arrived tonight. Gunna put it on friday as I have fog light grill inserts to install as well. I would just add a piece of rubber weather stripping to that part of the body to prevent it from scratching up real bad.

That's for Secondary Air injection on late model 06's and up

I installed an intake on my friends car and left it hanging in the engine bay

Does everyone know if that **** can work as a Short Ram?

I have no wheel well liner, so it would be a bad idea to put the filter down there

Gay.

I guess I'm going to have to reinstall my liner.

I was backing up this past summer and I hit a small pot hole and the car ran over it's own mudflap, tearing out the entire liner (since it's all one peice)

Price.

Just ordered mine, came to $45 shipped

I had an injen before, so I have something to compare too

I'll have to reinstall my wheel well liner probably tomorrow
