Ebay intake VS. GMPP intake
So i have come to the dilemma of what intake to get. GMPP or the Ebay intake.
Is there anyone with experiences? Opinions? Stories?
Different gains in power? Anything?

Build quality alot of the time has a great deal to do with the performance. Air leaks, fitting issues, and warp are comon problems with ebay intake. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. You want something a little better, pay a little more.
My buddy bought a knockoff AEM for his truck, and what he got was pretty terrible, was metal and sturdy, but the fitting was terrible, and it had an air leak. And i have seen this kind of thing happen before.

well i've had both the gmpp and i have now the ebay intake, the GMPP is ok, but i like the ebay CAI better, although i never used the filter that came with it, i bought a AEM dryflow, works nice, sounds nice, i like it better than the GMPP i used to have i recommend it

I install my ebay intake yesterday and love it. It has a better power gain than I thought it would. The piping is thicker than the ebay intake I had on my Cavaier. I plan on getting an AEM dryflow filter later.

Alright..thanks for all the opinions.
Did anyone with theres have trouble with the sensor fitting it, the one i read a week or so ago, said he had to shave the sensor spot a bit to get it to fit.
But i guess you would expect that with a knock off brand.
But thanks again..once i get some money scrapped together, i should be going to purchase one. Then just gotta remember to take it off when i bring it to have dealer work done.

Yeah i still have the day i wanna buy mine up in the air. I'm aiming for next week or possibly (more probable) the week after that.
Had to make my first payement today...and there went my last 200 dollars.
i have a whole 10 dollars in my wallet.

I just hacked up the airbox today. Made sure I had enough hose clamps, and sand everything smooth. Painting it black tomorrow, throws no CELs and big gain in the mid-range RPM.
I also took the book/resonator out though.

my sensor fit just fine, didnt have to chave anything, its just gunna be a bith tight, what i did was push it in enough to get part of the screw in, than just thighened the screw, that made to sensor go in the rest of the way with out shaing a thing , got to say with the cold weather we had today, i loce that thing, i felt the iddfrence it make over the gmpp
