Exclamation Ecu & Ecm?

I have a manual and was wondering, bc i know that one or the other is for a auto, i think.. ? what are they are they important. Bare with me guys im new at this.

ecu and ecm are the same thing. the cars computer just different words. electronic control unit and electronic control module

Did you know we had v-tak?


Also PCM is what you are thinking of for an auto, most manuals just go with a ecm/ecu. Same thing, just different names.

Perfect, I ordered four for my new quad exhaust I'm working on! Gonna run it out in front of the rear tires and out the back on each side. That should help keep the rattling down...
