ECU question.

Since the ION and the cobalt share so many parts, do they share the same ECU? If they do wouldnt there be a tune out for one of them since they have been out a few years more than the cobalt or is the 2.2 cavy to cobalt still in effect with the IONs, as in did they get different ECUs when the jbody went to the delta?

same car different ecu's and version for each year/model

actually, the 03-04 have speed density based fuel management, while 05 and newer are the same system as the Cobalt 2.2's

and no, there's no "tune" out for them, we're in the same boat as you all.

if there was a tune out, and it was the same ecu, we wouldn't all be bitching about the lack of tuning...
