Emissions passing turbo?????

I was looking around on forum to find out if a turbo kit for the 2.2L would be able to pass emissions and be street legal. Note: needs to pass New York emissions this is daily driver.

you may have better luck posting in the local region section, simply because emissions are not the same every where.

i do not know about emissions laws in canada, but the hahn racecraft turbo kits are stated by hahn to "pass the sniff test" in all fifty of the states. if your laws are similar, you are probably okay

They dont do the sniffer in NY. And since you will most likely need to tune your car, any CEL's will be erased. I think you're good to go!

if they just hook it up to a scaner and you have no codes you'll be fine. BUT if they open the hood you might not pass it depeneds how strick the shop you go to is.

Yeah as long as your shop isn't **** with the visual inspection, you have nothing to worry about.
