Engine Management for L61 with M62

Ok I'm a old school L61 cav guy that went to an LSJ and now I'm going to be working with a M62 charged 2.2 Auto, I normally use HP tuners for pretty much everything.

How can I get a 2.2 programmed to read boost and run bigger injectors properly and what software does it? I know the Hahn uses the SCT how close would this be to running a M62 on a stock pulley (10psi or so).

Can this SCT thing run bigger injectors and scale AFRs correctly?

Is the 2.2 in a cobalt? If it is, your only real options are either to tune with a piggy-back like the SMT-6, or have a tune done by Trifecta.

Yeah, the Garrett kit has a tune by SCT. The problem is that Garrett owns the tune because they paid SCT to crack the computer. So unless Garrett gives the word, its a no go from the SCT angle. Unfortunately so, because that would be awesome.

what I would do in your case is have trifecta send you a base tune with no PE delay, your desired rev limit and governor settings. also if its an auto get the shift points adjusted accordingly with higher line pressure. have vince scale the tune for the stock LSJ injectors then use the AEM FIC to control the fuel delivery under boost. you could also use it for timing. IMO that's the best way to tune for a stock pullied M62.

unless you want to have trifecta TRY to make you a tune and you never having full control over the fuel and spark. At least im close enough i can go get a custom tune but people who arent kinda get screwed.

Thats cool dude. i hope it works out. That just doesnt sit right for me though, the whole long distance tuning thing. I cant stand not having the control over my car especially when your boosted. If something changes you have to wait for someone else to send you a new tune. It kinda scares me...
