if you only did that none of the electrical components would work. why no mention of the lsj wiring harness? because you never did the swap.

I already swapped my 2.2 for a 2.0, it was easy, took me like 3 hours, all i had to do was
1.disconnect the battery
2.pop the hood
3.disconnect a few plugs (wherever you see one just disconnect them, sometimes they hide!)
4.unbolted the subframe and lowered the engine/tranny/subframe to the floor
5.Lift the car up and over the the engine and set it aside
6.i took the old engine off the subframe and bolted the new one on with the new transmission
7.now basically you just reverse the process, dont forget to plug the battery back in!
6.to add more horsepower put SS/SC emblems on the back!

Think of it like this, if Victory_Red_SS came on here and said he is doing a rwd conversion and twin turbo and building the lsj for 750hp, everyone would laugh at him..... but he showed plenty of pics, etc.... so people actually believe him.....
But post some pics and prove us all wrong......

the mech probably got into it and realized it was too much work and kind of silly. So with this kids limited knowledge, I would have just taken a Sharpey and written "2.0 Supercharged" on the valve cover, and maybe thrown on like an intake or something and he woulda never known the difference. Then he would have come on here with more BS like he spanked a Cobalt SS S/C or something.
I have a base LS and with 1/4 tank it weighed 2660 lbs. and it wasnt completely empty. I cleaned her out and removed the back seats, if I had to guess I would say with a 1/8 tank she'd probably weigh in at like 2525 - 2575 now
