if i could, duane, i recommend tuning the 24's on 8psi... they'll more than handle it. just so you don't (accidentally or otherwise) wash your cylinders or do a rich-detonation like i did. then that way you've at least got THAT tune to use on the 32's initially and tweak. instead of going 0-60 (expression, not the injectors ) straight off.
.... or like what they've been saying for the past 2 years....

I will be doing all the tuning research next week so its fresh in my mind when i plug this bad boy in and start tuning. It shouldnt be to hard because it will be MAP vs RPM. Kevin, you flyin down buddy? hehe

running a return line is very simple...as for the lean 4 i would probably say a split the fuel rail in half and then use a fuel block so each injector gets the same amount of fuel...aeromotive makes nice blocks!

i would recommend making it a return style fuel setup because 60lb injectors may not be able to pulse so fast to shoot so little fuel at the high fuel pressure we have stock.
So this way when you have vacuum the injectors won't have as much fuel pressure so the fuel injectors are not so stressed out trying to pulse so quickly.
Then at higher KPA values the fuel pressure can increase and then yay more fuel.
its just pulls the stress off the injectors and the injector drivers.
just my .02
doublepost: also don't make your goals off PSI levels, that's just a pissing contest.
Do it off HP goals that way you know what injectors to get for the desired HP goals...etc

But yeah im not basing my stuff on PSI, im just saying 8psi right now because i know what its producing with the 5th injector setup and just want to get it running with the AEM FIC to make sure it works properly. But yes all my goals are hp based. I already know exactly which injectors i will be using for each setup. Im just using PSI here for easy reference to make it a little more simple.
The largest injectors i will be going with are 60's running at a 90% IDC will get me around the 380-400hp mark on our fuel pressure. My thoughts about the FIC are that i dont think it will work well with anything higher then 60lb'ers. The reason being is it changes the pulse width when switching out primary injectors. I think if someone is going to go over 60's they should switch to 4 secondary injectors. That will allow for stock injectors to run the car under vacuum and the secondary injectors to run the car purely under boost, giving you precise fuel delivery to each cylinder. When setting up secondary injectors with the FIC, the secondary injectors will fire at the same time as the primaries. No fuel puddling to worry about, specially when the injectors are inside the runners.
Honestly the hardest part of this is going to be manipulating the o2 signal to keep the cars trim in line. It cant see over under 14.7 anywhere under 85% throttle. Thats not gonna be easy. I have a feeling im going to be throwing it into limp mode a lot...

Yeah good idea, ill have to look at that issue when it comes up. Im sure we can figure something out.

But yes all my goals are hp wise according to injector size. Im just using PSI here for easy reference to make it a little more simple.

Nah we had Allen on speakerphone, he said yes to every question we asked. However, he assumed that we were already running a piggyback system... which is where the misunderstanding happened. So yes, your right, they can't tune a 2.2 without any help from an aftermarket system.

with the return style fuel rail you'll be able to put bigger injectors than 60lb but with a lower fuel pressure so the (example 72lb) injectors will act like 55's or so.
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator ftw

actually I was educated in arizona. Don't make assumption's. You have no idea what kind of education I have.
Furthermore I can tell you're just going to keep getting more and more immature as this goes so as of now I'm washing my hands of it. It's not my problem if you can't take a simple joke. And even if you didn't know it was a joke, you reacted to it in an extremely immature way by trying to call me out on things about me you have no idea about. By all means though. keep going. I'm having fun watching you make an ass out of yourself.
