Exedy Supplies Stock Clutches
Do anyone know if this is true, I got it off their site
Just Released - Exedy, The OEM Supplier to the Cobalt, has released a Stage 1 - Organic Performance Clutch for the LS and LT model Chevy Cobalt.
I came acrossed it looking for clutch options, So Is Exedy really the OEM for our clutches??????????

to my knowledge it was a Valeo unit, which is pretty beefy
I've looked at the Excedy unit, just not sure I want to spend the money on it yet since the stock one is working out fine with the punishment I give it.

I don't know if they designed it for the 2.2L (different tranny), but the 2.0L they did. They also designed the clutch that is being used in the Time Attack Cobalt Car and Grand Am Cup cars.
