i thought 2.2's were 2 inches

2.2 is 2"
2.0 and 2.4 is 2.25"

yea .. i thought the 2.2 was 2" all the way back..

the 2.0 and 2.4 are 2.5 till the over axle bend then it's 2.25" then after the muffler it's 2.5"

when i had my 2.2 i measured it at 2.25 exactly. but who knows, there's so many differences between model years, and even differences in the same year that it's very possible that there's multiple sizes.

Just measure yours to be sure. Mine was 1.9" just after the muffler.

Depends where you measure on the car, it varies from 1 7/8" to 2.25" on the 2.2L stock (measuring at different locations on the exhaust).

If you want aftermarket magnaflow makes a 2.25" and 2.5" which sounds very nice.
