keep the resonator, it does help...keeps the sound level down, with out it will be a tad bit louder, less sound dampening, that is why im changin my muffler to a greddy one, the greddy is made to dampen better than the megan, the megan was nice, good tone, but i predict my greddy to be a tad bit quieter as it has more sound dampeing insides...

trust me, u dont want louder, the word ur looking for is deep...loud is just nasty, whatu want is a nice toned exhaust...go with after 2.25" inner diameter piping, a resonator, stock is fine, and a muffler...trust me loud is not what u want, i am having to deal with loud b/c i cut my muffler off my megan exhaust while i have my greddy ready to be fitted, and it sounds like ****, i dont rev past 2k cuz of how it sounds

Depends what your looking for out of the exhuast. Are you looking for increased performance or just a neat sounding car?

Better sound get the muffler, more power and better sound do a muffer and new larger manrel bent tubes. Best bet is magnaflow if you go this route (easier in the long run)
