Exhaust and Header Combo
Alright, here's the deal...I've been reading up on exhaust and header threads, but I haven't really been able to answer one of my main questions. I'm also trying to watch the Detroit Lions game (worst goddamn team in sports), so I am taking a shortcut with this possibly-repetitive thread...here goes anyway...
I really am looking at either the Magnaflow or the GMPP exhausts as well as the Pacesetter Header. My question is, how compatible would the systems be with each other? Is there lots of cutting and welding involved, or could I do this myself? Thanks for any feedback.

they dont replace the downpipe, they just bolt to the flange in the middle of the car(pretty sure) so dont forget about buying a downpipe from somewhere(cobalt-addiction has a good one)
everyone says pass the pacesetter, it requires some cutting and stuff. i've heard the best bet for us is to buy the gmpp extrude/honed header.

So you think I'd be better off with something like that? I wish shipping wasn't so much for the Corsa exhaust on this site, pain in the ass...
So this header, new downpipe, and then the catback exhaust of my choosing? I'm horrible at welding and cutting, so again, would I have to enlist the help of a professional?

The zzp or intense headers should give you better gains then the gmpp one. They also bolt right up to the downpipe so there is no welding. I know modernperformance.com sells the maganflow for like 479 shipped.
