Exhaust Question

I tried a search but for some reason everytime I would do it, it brought up a blank page.

I just but a header and downpipe for a stock SS/SC. I'm just wondering if it will bolt directly up with our stock 2.2 exhaust? I'm going to have to install the header and downpipe then bring it to a shop to get my custom exhaust made. But for now (if it fits) It will give me some added power.

Thanks for the help!

the entire SS exhaust will bolt directly up to the 2.2L.

I have it on my car. It adds decent power.

So I have just the header and downpipe. It will bolt up directly to my stock 2.2 exhaust...for the time being?

I don't know about that. You might need the full SS exhaust.

The GM Performance Parts exhaust does not differentiate between engines or body styles so I think it would be safe to say that any exhaust parts would bolt in place of any other ones ASSUMING the bolt pattern on the heads are the same, which must be the case if someone is running the entire system on a 2.2.

Right I know that. But I'm wondering if jsut eh header and downpipe from a SS/SC will bolt up to the 2.2L Stock exhaust. It seems like everyone is saying that It will so I should be good.
