and that is part of why it is nice that some ppl on here have the items that some question...I had some theories...you say they are wrong....but the truth is...anyone can jump in a car with a turbocharger and aggravate the locals....but not just anyone can jump in and hit the switch to pump the juice out the back...I'm not looking to flame anyone...but NOS is one of the more dangerous things to put on your car...not just because overspray can damage piston rings and more..but because it is highly flamable...if you get in a wreck and the bottle blows...

as I understand it ..chips and all electronics alike..ie. fuel management systems, aftermarket ignition, etc...really should be left to the pros unless you really have some skill with tuning...and I have heard ...like others have said above ..trifecta is the way to go...as far as the NOS goes...thanks to all those that corrected me..I honestly thought it would harm the motor without some mods...I'm actually thinking about getting a system sometime...so did you guys put it on yourself or have it done at the shop? How much was your setup? I see many of you have wet shots...anyone run with direct port?

i installed at home in the driveway, alone . took 2 days to get everything wired, working and clean enough to present. dynotune kit cost around $400 and it came with everything to wire up the basic kit. i installed a window switch (must have), a zex tps (took it off cause i prefer the microswitch) and the dynotune dual purge kit (converted back to single purge cause twice the purge is rice and wastes precious nitrous. to keep the bottle pressures up i'm running the dyntotune automatic bottle heater.
forget about anything direct port on the ecotec. the way the fuel/nitrous atomizes upon delivery ensures a good even enough mixture hits your intake stream. i'd only recommend direct port if your running a high dry shot where the injectors are tuned to add the additional fuel. in short wet kit only for the 2.2 ecotec anything else is a fail.
and for the love of god quite calling it nos that's either the fast and furious generic term used to reference nitrous or a particualr brand name used by NOS a.k.a. Nitrous Oxide Systems.
