Please, a lot of us have spent a lot of time researching this. Trust me i would have done it already if it would work. I was looking into that when i first wanted to boost my car. Theres no tuning, not even the dealer can do it. All they can do is reflash you back to stock or if your lucky setup bigger tire size. The car may run ok at first, but do you really think that dealer would tell you if the engine blew up a week or so later?

I'm going to call them tomorrow and just inquire about it, they're about 20mins away from me.

The last time I was there about 3 months ago, right before I bought my Cobalt, I stopped by the parts dept and asked if they knew of any aftermarket or GMPP parts for the Cobalt 2.2, the guy said "Nah, they only make stuff for the Cobalt with the Turbo Charger thing....."
GM makes a Turbo'd Cobalt? I didn't know that?

NO LIE, CALL THEM AND ASK THEM!!

I can see a normal salesperson maybe...but the parts manager? wtf
