Thats cool and I hope he does. But ill be making sure im not pushing them over 80%. And on paper they go way over 80% at 400hp. I know paper isnt exact, but its a great starting point for safe measure.

It's funny how just about every thread always becomes a pissing match.

I am more interested in hearing about laptop connectvity to the car. I thought I heard that mentioned perhaps? I would like more details if possible.

IMHO, you shouldnt raise rev limit or governor or not much of anything really, unless your either built bottom end, or built with f/i

injectors are important when going F/I from N/A or on an SS, getting a smaller pulley.

I'd also like to not run over 80% IDC, and with that being said, you need roughly 70lb injectors to do that at 400whp. Im just tryin to be safe. And i've done my homework, many many times.
when running ur IDC range its safe to say that putting them above a 90% range just makes things harder ina way.

the guys who want injectors should look no further than stock ss/sc injectors for NA application. the main thing with them is that you have more control over the same amount of fuel making it easier to run the injectors and u have a more versitile IDC if u want to add more for a later application.

this is true, he is closing in on his IDC range but hes still got a long ways to go, plus here in michigan its winter and cold outside so hes prolly running them harder right now. for summer he should be a lot better off.

its all about how you tune ur car that determines lots of these factors. i can safely say 06black knows his tunes very well and is reputable.

i know him via our car club website seecarclub.net that we are both on locally. ive seen his setup and its ridiculous.

aren't 2.4 injectors the same as 2.2? IIRC those guys are taking the motors up to 7K on stock injectors so we should be good to go N/A wise on injectors based on that.

I know Cavi Eco guys upgrade to 32# injectors though when increasing the rev limiter but I don't know if their cam selection will have an effect on their IDCs.

Oh yea....I was also wondering about that ridiculous form of "traction control" that the base-base models have; you know, how it cuts the throttle, forcing the driver to re-apply the gas.
Since we should be back on topic...would anyone like to read my post? ^^

Sounds awesome! I really don't wanna resort to cutting speed sensors...

To much...pic is just a reference...this company doesn't mass produce them so they're hella expensive due to custom orders.

It's smaller than it looks plus they're at an angle....it does replace the stock manifold so there is enough room

nope, we can tune for the air coming in, and you can upgrade the injectors if you want...i personally want my air CLEAN as it comes in...and there is just no point on a daily driver or even moderatly moded track/ street car...if it was track only and you were trying to go n/a...AND you had already done everything else you can...then sure...but for most of us...its just a waste of money...

First off i dont know where you get your info but ITB's do have filters...

Second...not all of us are jumping the boosted banwagon...some of us would rather "waste" our money building muscle w/ metal like over boring and a high comp motor. It doesn't have the sound of a spool or the sound of a BOV....but it does work and is more of a challenge. So dont knock on ITB's....

Are you saying this tune is only for those going boosted or something? You do know there is life BEYOND boost right?
