Fuddddggee!!

So if some of noticed I had just fixed my car. Now apparently my engine is junk as I got water in it in a florida downpour. So if anyone is in the tampa area. Know of any good places to take it for an engine rebuil?

Thanks.

Would guess sucked up water through the CAI, assuming they didn't have it installed as an SRI.

So if anyone is interested in what happened I went and called my insurance and they covered and I got a used engine put in my car. I also kept the old engine and does anyone think it will be good to keep and rebuild and upgrade to handle higher horsepower for supercharging later on?

it would be nice having a second engine. U can rebuild the hydrolocked one and but cams/values/springs then just swap it in

You drive through a lake? You pretty much need to completely submerge the filter for it to suck up water.

Just my string of bad luck lately. I was thinking on fixing up the second engine and buying upgraded parts to swap out later. Would be good as then I wouldn't have to worry about raking up too many miles on the engine saving up money for everything.
