All cars come with a cpu that has all the information to run the injectors and ignition timing plus many other parameters. The computer controls all of them though, and usually are set from the factory for optimal reliability and drive ability. With a tune you can change all the parameters to maximize performance and gas mileage.

the results are in! and i must say i am impressed with what i laid down today. 139whp, 137whp and the best run of 140whp. due to a dyno issue the first 2 runs didnt pick up wtq readings, but the 3rd landed me at 128 wtq

here is the final run sheet, best WHP and only one with WTQ

EDIT:::140WHP... not 149WHP... sprry for the confusion

Not bad man, i'm sure once you get the tune you'll be in the 160's. I think I might dyno my g5 gt once I get my tune. I already have full bolt ons so I figure I'm at 165 at the wheels right now and be about 175-180 after the tune.

Thats why I asked just to clear it up, if this is with just intake and cat-back that is great, but if its full bolt-ons then its just alright.

This^^^ I only have a custom intake and catback right now. All the ss guys loved my tsudo exhaust and the numbers I put down. I only expected 120 or less. I will have full boltons and a tune come mid november. Ill then redyno and list those numbers.

yeah! he told me that and we all went wtf? NICE! my first pull was in 3rd, 139 hp. 2nd pull was in 4th, 137hp. new dyno template and i got the 140whp in 3rd. if i stay this consistent ill and get the gains everyone talks about ill be runnin roughly 170 to the wheels with full bolt-ons and the intake manifold... before the tune and TB. this will be interesting. i will be keeping this thread updated as i move though my build steps

pyros777 was there filming all the pulls, and as i went first today i know he has my pulls. as soon as i can get back in touch with him ill get the video and post it so everyone can see

Still not bad. I should have actually looked at the graph and noticed it wasnt 149 either. I hear Dynojets read a little high though, wonder what it would read on a Mustang Dyno.

Over stock? Yes... a big difference. This dynojet dyno ran ss cobaltts 40hp low... they went just to see what their small mods gained for them... they noticed no power loss yet tghis dyno showed 40 less then previous dyno runs... so I don't know what's up with this dyno... but whatever... I'm still gonna use it as a base line to measure gains. Ill let my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times speak for actual power. High or not they are still good numbers

i had full bolt ons and a tune in my old 2007, could not break 15.00 @ 92-94 mph. hit that mark a number of times. car was noticibly quick, but nowhere compared to being supercharged for relitavely same price. vince does a nice job tuning the car, just make sure u complete everything befor u tune

ever consider a driver mod? lmfao jk. again... did that include the 2.4L tb and intake manifold? i think think that actually fits in as a 'bolt-on' lol
