3. the 2.4 mani loses low end for mid range gains.. and im putting it on with the 2.4 tb, which should
help minimalize low end losses,
help minimalize low end losses,

I have both the intake manifold and TB, Trust me the low end torque loss is noticable with the TB, but my god about 4kRPMs the car shoots out of a canon.
If i didn't work so damn much I would get a dyno and finish it. Got rained out at the track last week too.
The one thing I really like about the 2.4TB is the throttle response.

exactly...the thing about low end loss..about mid range your feeling..it feels like its pulling harder but dont forget..you had a LOSS to begin with, so first the engine has to get back up to speed and THEN get up into gains..and its not just hp the mani loses..its a hella tq..
and remember..top end gains DO NOT make for huge low end loss...your looking for best gains THROUGHOUT the band...not just at a certain place...even if you DO mod something that yeilds a loss, you want the part that gains to outweigh the loss...study the dyno of the 2.4 hard before installing...i would like to see a before and after install with this mani on an engine with different internal, even just cams and head work i think it would work better

Well for me the tune from trifecta really picked the low end up. Then I turned around and had him tune for the 2.4TB. It was even more gain up top. I haven't driven my quarter in the quarter yet, but I'd say you stay above 4k RPMS most of the time so high end gain is worth it for sure.
I did a brief analysis of the before and after dynos from a 2.4 manifold a long time ago. The overall power is exactly the same. The area under the curve is exactly the same. Just depends where you want power.
Then about it like this. You rev to 2500 when launching then never see below like 4k again, why does it matter if you lost low end power?

dyno in that thred ~155whp

I heard from a few owners here that with a header, full exhaust, and intake the output was about 160hp at the crank. That is about 136hp at the wheels.
If that is incorrect, there are some liars going around.
I will say for an 07 starting at 148hp, that is only a 12hp gain which seems realistic.
I realize people are rating these guestimates at the wheels.
Stock is about 126hp at the wheels, unless these cars have a lot more than usual loss from the powertrain.
