I apologize, you're right. I didn't see that you had a 2007. So yeah, you're going to have to wait.

Working on that. You wouldn't be able to buy the canned tune that SCT made for Garrett. But if SCT supports the Cobalt in their future tuning software release, then you can do whatever you want.

Thats a negative... Cannot even get your car tuned from them yet. I really am not expecting anything from them for another couple months.

Why does the strut tower brace need to go? Not enough room?

The charge pipe from that runs over the top of the engine interferes with it.

I'm not getting any answers from the SCT web forum with regard to my questions post over there. I'll try calling next week.

i talked to him on the phone a few weeks b4 the kit was out. he is a really nice guy and answered alot of questions. he did say thay have the kit on an 07 aswell. somthing about it bein dynoed or whatever. from what he told me SCT can turn as plain old 05-06. i dunno....

^^ Seriously? Because I couldn't even get that much out of them. And in their forum, they say the Pro-Racer package was not for the Cobalt. However, that was a while back, so things certainly could have changed.

From what i was told by a Dealer, is that he was going down to florida to see their new location and get the details on the new gm platform. From what i was told from him last week i quote "they dont quite have their ducks in a line yet" because of the move. Guess we will see here soon.

Okay, a dealer. That's different. Stay in touch with him after his trip and see what he has learned.

I asked the guy three times to make sure the Pro Racer Package was there. But he said there is going to be a bunch of GM stuff released at one time.

It's for the manual only. I could put in on my car, but it would destroy my automatic trans without some kind of tuning for that too.

And since I already smoked one engine at $5000, I'm going to make sure it's right before I lay down the cash again.

Quick Reply: Garrett officially releases the full Alpha turbo kit!
