all depends on the driver and if its highway or city or a combo of both. I personally only drive about 30 miles a week highway and the rest is city. I get around 27 MPG

right now I'm getting about 25MPG. I have the Injen SRI and when it's 5 for your high, you seem to go through a little more gas, lol!
This is with 50/50 hwy/city driving with the occasional "spirited fun"

2.4L here..
City: 10-11litres per 100k
highway:8.5-9litres per 100k
These numbers were on 87octane.. just started trying 91octane, so far no difference but not expected for awhile..I also noticed my milage depends on road conditions!! When theres quite a bit of snow on the roads I get really bad gas milage 11+ litres per 100k.. Dry conditions much better ..
Sorry just noticed this was posted in 2.2L section but ya there u go, FYI..

I noticed no changes on higher octane gas, think it is a waste at this point. I normally get 9.4L/100km(99% city), but if I go on the highway I have seen as low as 6.3L/100km.

I do almost all city driving. I try to keep the RPMs under 3000 most of the time, unless I get pissed off. When traffic is not an issue, I keep it under 2500 RPMs. My milage is around 25 MPG, thats what the DIC says.

I do mostly city driving so my average mileage isn't that high. I usually get about 25 to 27 MPG per tank.
Oh... and that is driving with a light foot. I am very nice to my Cobalt... my toy (Mustang) only gets about 15 MPG, but my foot is in the carburetor all the time.

I stay around 27 mpg average, but I did notice a slight increase after going up from 87 to 89 octane. My car is stock and manual with moderate driving spirited-ness staying mostly below 3000 rpms and rarely being held above 2500 rpms. These are all city also with an occasional decent hill or two.

was averaging 23.5-27.5 mpg's(40%hwy 60%city), then it dropped to 15-18mpg's. My driving style didn't change, neither did my route. All on 87 octane from a teir 1 gas station.

Your car is burning fuel idiling, and its not moving, so the DIC averages 0 MPG in while its idiling.
