Just curious but what part of the GMPP intake broke?
I have not had problems so far but it's only been a couple of months

how would they get maf problems when aem uses all dryflow filters?
as for the question, no part will "void" your warranty unless a part on the car breaks and they prove that what you did to the car caused that other part to malfunction and break. as for performance gains i doubt an intake is going to make any substantial gain between brands vs other brands. I have aem on mine and have no regrets
