Ball Bearing...that's up to you.
Injector sizing depends on how much power you're aiming for. What are you aiming for? Also, you'll need some type of adjustable fuel pressure regulator to turn down the fuel pressure so you don't flood your motor or cause "sputtering" with bigger injectors.

I was hoping 300hp + when its all said and done, anything after 350hp would be amazing if possible. The GT28RS only holds up to 350 from what I've heard, I want to make enough power without maxing out the turbo. I;d like to run several boost levels with a digital boost controller, but probably no more than 16psi. I was thinking 50lb injectors would be good for those levels, but im sure im wrong, lol.

Also, you don't want to just shoot to 16 PSI, you want to start small and aim higher.
Are these turbos internally or externally wastegated?
How are you going for fuel management?

My biggest problem is the auto trans, I was hoping there would be some way I could find a wrecked 5spd cobalt at the junkyard and buy the tranny. I have a few hook ups back in FL, im back home in NY now, but once I get down to FL for school in August the build is going to begin.

Yeah, BB Turbos seem kind of fast spooling for me...if I was running a lower compressioned motor where I'm more dependant on forced induction to make power even under less engine load, I'd get it.

Doesn't Aeromotive make fuel pressure regulators that will work with the Ecotec's or what other companies are out there? Heres the link to Garretts site if you want to clarify anything for me

not sure about fuel management yet, anybody have any suggestions, ( and no soft hands because i type on this damn computer all day, lol) and YES NJHK has all the knowledge, hes the Ecotec Yoda. Yea the GT28 spools quick, Id love to have more midrange than anything but Im worried the GT30 and up series will start to have too much lag on the 2.2L.

I was thinking 8:5:1 pistons(I think Wiseco makes them for the Ecotec) so I can pump up the boost a little higher without having to worry about too high compression. Then theres the issue with rods, I think Crower makes billet rods for our car. I never know whether I shoudl get H-beams or I-beams.

Go to www.carcustoms.net and you'll find 8.9:1 pistons...that's a low enough compression.

I'm old school
http://www.gofaststuff.com has the cheapest price I found for the Eagle rods at $309, plus they usually throw in a set Clevite bearing for them for free.
