I understand the voiding the warranty stuff is only if the part causes the problem but I always thought they were more touchy with leased cars since you have to return it the exact way they gave it to you. So I could theoretically put all GMPP stuf fon it and they wont mind, but if I do all aftermarket and return it would they chrage me for removal and installation of factory parts? I dont understand the limitations of a leased vehicle.

GMPP is a 2.25", Magnaflow and corsa are both 2.50"
The reason why the GM is 2.25" is because if you look at the down pipe, it goes from 2.5" to 2.25" right before it connects to the cat-back system. The exhaust is only good up to that point. But if you plan on puttting on a race header, like weapon R, then go with Corsa or Magnaflow for the 2.5" diameter.
I personally have the GMPP and it sounds good! No drone sound at all!!

No offense... but it's a 2.2L leased vehicle man... don't blow $700 on an exhaust system... you're never gonna get that back out of the car. And I don't think you need the performance gains from a super free flowing exhaust.
Just go down to your local muffler shop and get a custom job done for $200... you'll be a heck of a lot happier.

I can get it for $376 not $700 lol. But yea I understand I've had this dilemma since my dad leased it without telling me,lol. He completed the deal on the car and "Surprised" me with an auto and a lease. Im fortunate and happy to get a new car but not exactly wat I got. But w/e I still love the damn thing to death and will keep it.

GMPP
Sounds better
Cheaper
Borla Exhaust ( if you didn't know Borla and GMPP worked together to design it )
At a meet I had I listened to both of them side by side and the GMPP sounds more throaty than the Corsa. I thought it sounded similar to the srt-4 exhaust which IMO sounds pretty sweet.

Save your money an exhaust will do nothing for you.

if you ever plan to go turbo or super with your car and make power leveles 300-400 hp...i would reccomend upgrading from the gmpp 2.25" to somethin with 2.5" piping or larger

yea i planning to turbo it only if I decide to buy it because of going over the miles on the lease ( I have a 12k mile a year lease and I've had it for 7 and a half months and already have over 10K on it.) Which is probably whats going to happen so I wanna turbo it within the next year or so. Im waiting for HP Tuners to come out with a 2.2 program. My friends all have turbo cars and have spare turbos lying around and tons of tools to install them, lol. Im looking into that route. So now since I posted this i pretty much decided to wait tioll I go turbo and get a custom exhaust.

Corsa. If your going to spend the money...go big and get the best gains.
I e-mailed GM about their cat-back--they said a performance increase is "subjective"..... add that to the fact they advertise NO power increase.
Now maybe it does---but GM certainly is not marketing it well.
Mine is a lease too--small stuff, (that can be changed back) they are not worried about.

I always wondered why GM advertised no gains. I dunno I'm gonna wait til I turbo.
I know this is a little off topic but where does everyone get the Fan Banners?
