He's referring to your valve cover. Your '07 has coil-on-plug ignition, which the '05 and '06 2.2's don't have. Yours looks more like the 2.4 valve cover. Ours has a cover over the center portion between the cams, so you can't see the plugs and plug wires.

On my 2.4, I've been thinking about making a cover that raises up high enough to clear the coils and then back over the coils, leaving it open in the back for the wiring. That would visually hide most of the clutter. I'll use aluminum sheet and give it a brush finish (easy to fabricate compared to stainless).

Yeah I should prolly fab something up. Just to clean it up a little, so it dont look so messed up.

I've had my GMPP Intake on since they became available in September and have not had any problems......well....probably less MPG....'cause I like to hear it

There are no brackets or supports to hold it in place without the box. I'm sure with some "backyard" engineering someone could come up with a fix.

these cars with intakes sound sooooo mean. I had my buddy drive my car and pass me while i was driving his.....just wow. they sound sooo good

im planningon getting this intake for my car... then my next envestment is the hood that comes with a scoop that will work with the short ram.....

i cant remember who makes it though

It is 50-state emissions approved -- just put the CARB decal (comes with the intake) in a visible location. I put mine on the intake itself.

do you think an Injen is better or equal to a GMPP intake?? like i know the gains of the Injen with a GMPP exhaust connected was a 7whp gain. do you think the GMPP intake does the same?
