GMPP Intake install help

I want to install my intake tomorrow but it's almost 0 degree weather around here and was wondering if I should wait till it's warmer outside? I figure the plastic might be more flexible in the warm weather than now. I don't want to run the risk of cracking some plastic from the cold weather. Does this make a difference?

Yea dont worry about the temp. you can just preassemble the intake inside anyways. then go outside and remove the upper half of the airbox and the filter along with the piece connected to the throttle body.

throw the new intake on and tighten the brackets all up and there ya have it.

I just don't want to run the risk of tightening up a clamp and the plastic cracking or something but i'm gonna go try and install the intake in a lil bit.

you should be ok... but that's why I save all my underhood mods for spring... or one of our lovely southern warm spells.

Unless you have a garage...

Yeah, when I converted the injen CAI to SRI I felt the throttle was a little more lively. Congrats on the install, and hope you like it!
