goin to the track for the first time

so im takin the cobalt to the track for the first time and need some tips on how to run her
i dont wana mess anything up
its 10 dollars to get in and 10 dollars to race for the whole night that means all the runs you want im super pumped!!!

bump i dont wana tear up the car so how should i run her
i kno nothing about running the car at a strip

dont rev over 2k starting off. and dont dump the clutch. let it have time to cool down. and take out your passenger headlight.

tak some air out of the tires and feather the clutch. i wouldnt mess with the headlight if u dont have an intake.

Is this a serious question? And maybe I'm slow but why feather the cutch? Esp on this car? I have to feather it on my bike when I'm on the track. But never evenn thought of it in my balt.

You have to feather it so you won't bog.
