hpt should contact vince with trifecta and work out a price for the magic code so hpt can tune :-P

might be a pretty penny though haha

Would you guys stop bothering HPT. They are not going to do anything about the E16a. They have better things to do with their time. So please stop wasting your time trying to convince them.

If your an 07, use LS2Edit. Its the same thing but not as fancy looking and costs the same.

What your missing is that it doesnt matter what paul did to his car because thats a completely different ECM. Even if HPT cracked it doesnt mean you will have all the same features because they are limited to what the ECM OS can do and i can guarantee you that the LSJ PCM is a hell of a lot better then yours.

If you have an 07, go LS2Edit and quit crying already please. At least you have software out there...

It costs $500-$600. I cant remember exactly but i know its not any more then $600, so its damn close to HPT's cost. If paul can tune with HPT im sure he can adapt a little to LS2Edit. There are screen shots of it around here somewhere, do a search.

I may pick up LS2 edit sometime in the spring sinceit looks like htp won't support it, plus there are some features of ls2 edit that hpt doesn't support

while i agree, it sounds like most of these people are referring to the E37 not the E16a
it would be nice to be able to retune right now withough throwing down another $275... thats too much money just for a tune swap from 42lbers to 60lbers

who charges 275 for a retune? if you think vince charges that much you need to check again.. update fees are 100 bux from what i remember

i was under the impression minor tweaks would be $100, such as code removal or slight alterations, but a full retune would be full price

major upgrades are the new fee.. like boost, or cams or something of that nature.. i would think a pulley/ injector swap is only 100 bux those aren't hard things to change once you have a base tune
