Got CA v2 header & dp installed, odd noise now

Parts came in today and I installed it today. Only problem I have is their is an annoying ass noise that happens at certain speeds, like 20-25 and then 70. Sounds like something is flapping under the car. If I accelerate slowly I can hear it flap slowly and then it flaps faster the quicker I accelerate. I haven't a clue what it is, im gonna check under the car tomorrow. Just wanted to see if anyone else has come across this noise when installing a header and what you did to shut it up.

BTW the dp has a cat.

Thanks

The "flapping" is most likley an exhaust leak. Check to make sure the gaskets are sealed.

Yep, make sure your gaskets are good. I replace mine every time I mess with one.

I don't know exactly how much lb of torque those bolts need, but make sure you tighten the hell out of them.

sounds like a exhaust leak, get under ur car while its on, i recommend having it on stands, move ur hand arounf the collector gasket, cover all 360* of it, if you feel any sort of breeze its a leak, even at idle you can feel a leak, to help out have someone rev it a bit, make sure all header bolts are firmly tighened, there are 10 of them, go from left to right again and give them all a second go...always good to re trq them after a while...i do that with my exhaust components, header/dp/exhaust i installed it, ran it for a 100 or so miles than went back and retighened them

just tell them that you think it might be leaking, if they can go back and double check the bolts, dont be offensive about, be humble, if someone came to me w/a attitude i wouldnt give a rats ass, but if they came being nice, not throwing blame on me thats something else, i would work to correct the problem...also checkin it is something you can do urself...wont take you but 10mins

nah, my not one of those ******** that b*tch about everything. It makes sense that the bolts would need to be retorqued after they get extremely heated. Is there a specific torque spec for the nuts on the header to head? I personally dont like being under my car, esp when its on. Plus my driveway is slanted.
