He should be trapping close to 100 mph, not 108 like was suggested. Thats good for mid to low 14's if he gets a good launch.

I don't think my guess was too far off; with an okay launch I think he could probably get a 14.5 @ 99. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I thought there was a little bit of sarcasm with the 108mph, I was suggesting that he would spin like crazy off the line.

im just suprised people think he will only have a flat 200whp..I mean if a stock LS dynos around 120-135 (higher with less gas/synthetics? idk) anyways. you add intake header catback dp and 2.4 mani and you're up to somewhere near 155hp....

Then on top of that you hit a 85 shot which is probly good for 65 to the wheels bare min, and you're gonna be at at least 220 whp

and if hes smart he won't spray right off the line eiter lol, or invest in a 2 stage system

I'd say if you don't f*** things up, mid to low 14s. But depending on track prep, temp, humidity, launch, elevation, and much more to consider, I expect you to get into the 14s but about 14.9.

It's going to depend on air temps and hummidity... but I will say 200-215 hp and 205-220 wtq!

I would say prolly mid to high 14s if you can get some traction!

im gonna guess

15hp/11tq

49.832 1/8 mile

Clock will default by the time you finish but you will still trap at 18 miles an hour... Assuming there is a strong back wind..

Gotcha. I guess the subtlety was lost on me. Working second shift alone on a friday night will do that.

I don't blame ya, I didn't have any smilies or anything.

And I hear ya on that work stuff. At my tire shop today, we sold the most tires since our store has been open, 1 yr 9 months. It was the first day of our promotion, one guy called in sick, and another is on vacation, so I got to rack up an extra 1 1/2 hours of overtime. At least its time and a half.

Ahh, don't worry about me. Only another 2 years of this crap, and I'll be topped out on my pay rate, making over 50K a year,

Back on topic, 14.45 is my final answer.

Sometime I want to take a car... like an old stock cavalier or something... and strap like 500 bottle rockets to it and rig them to shoot off all at the same time as I'm going down the track. I wonder what kind of times I'd get?

I think alot of people are misinformed about nitrous. they all think the plastic manifold will just blow up randomly as if nitrous (under normal use) makes some kind of massive intake pressure... Really all you gotta worry about it your window switch working right. Honestly I don't see the difference between a 75 shot and an 85 except with the 85 you might actually see 75 to the wheels when with a 75 you might see 55-65

The reason the intake manifold blows up is not from pressure, its from dragons breath. When the heated valves ignite the incoming nitrous stream and causes a chain reaction back into the intake manifold where the nitrous explodes, therefor blowing the intake manifold.
