guess whats wrong w/my car

well this has happend twice now...

idle:
19-20 a/f

driving:
18-20 a/f

idles like ****, drives like ****, sounds like ****...hmm am i missing anything lol...i got a CEL but bc this happend while i was on lunch, i wont find out what the cel is ti'll i get off and have vatozone check it out, also, if i turn the car off when this starts happening, and turn it back on, it will act normal again...and it only starts after idling for a while, like a long red light, or doing a withdrawal from a drive thru ATM

so far my troubleshooting steps will be:

-unplug first o2, this will tell me if its a sensor or a actual mechanical/electrical issue
-get the cel checked out(at this point i shoudl know what sensor it is, if its a sensor)
-possibility that the cel is a po171 for the lean thing, which wont help one bit

injectors clogged maybe??? it has to be something on the top end that is causing this and running that lean i would be worried if it has already or will do much worse damage...

well it drives fine after a restart, so im betting its either the MAP, MAF, or o2...if its either of them i can unplug the first o2 and let it run of tables instead of sensors

i know i have all weekend to find out whats wrong and why its doing it, gunna run some fuel cleaner thru it and taking injectors out, also cleaning the maf, checking the map, and removing the blower and intake manfold to figure this out...and do dual pass...so 2 birds, 1 stone

Clean your MAF? I had a p0171 bank 1 lean the other day, but I never reset my fuel trims on the 60's so after i reset the ecm it went away and hasn't come back.

Have you tried just resetting your ecm?

I have not checked the fuel filter, it only has 10k on it, no vacuum leaks, gauge reads vacuum right, I found out I'm missing my gas cap...and it rained 2 days ago, on top of that this started when I was down to my last bar of gas...so could be it was spraying water...but I doubt it...still gunna check it out, I got a lsj map to plug the top of the blower, and another 2.2 map to replace the one I have now, and I have my old maf(which I know works bc I worked when I removed it), the other map's r new, just got them today...i filled my tank half way..so far hasn't done it, and the cel was p0506, "idle control system rpm to high"

Sounds like a Throttle body issue or maybe a vacuum leak... When did this start happening? I mean did this just start or has this problem been there since you went S/C ?

Well, glad to hear it has stopped for the moment, you need to get your hands on a scan tool that reads data, if it starts doing it again, that way you can look at different sensor values to get an idea for the culprit... This is assuming you don't have a vacuum leak or some other mechanical type issue...
