and i didnt know it was clearence issues with the auto, but like stated above, custom setups can be built. and rippmods (www.rippmods.com) is thinking about doing a turbo system and they're looking for both autos and sticks for prototyping...so that can only mean one thing.

You might not need a compressor, the spring on our cars are not that taught when the car is off the wheels, you can most likely do it by hand, (or at least with someones help).

Spring compressors i can get from autozone on a loan. other than that i would prolly need a pry bar, socket set, and a hammer. but CT said he's got all the **** including air tools at his house so i might just drive down there and do em cuz i gotta pick em up from my buddy's house anyway

1) to stop the spring from shooting away when you take off the strut cover
2) when putting the new spring on so that you can reinstall the strut cover

On my friends cavalier you didn't need a compressor.
We did it by hand

Ok i really want a turbo for my 2.2L but i keep hearing that its not a good idea if you have an auto that you have to change the transmission out. Would i need to go with a manual setup? Get a better Auto transmission or just do what some say and just put on a tranny cooler? Also would this issue arise if wanting to put on a supercharger?

Another 16G turbo kit on a 2.2L car. No wonder why all of these cars and all this torque and no top end or decent mid-range.
Not a fan of the end tank design on that kit at all. YUCK!
WTH happened at 4.5K RPMS????? That curve looks sea sick.
