as for the adjustment....my muffler is kinda twisted more to the left....making it off center.
i'll fix it as soon as i weld my resonator on....
can you post pics with your resonator in once you get it done?
I'll install mine next weekend and try to get the res welded in there on that same day.

oh yeah for sure......but i'll porbably be a week before i get the resonator in cause then i have to go to the states to pick it up and welded......i just hope i can fix the positioning so the down arc pipe around the back springs doesnt bang onto each other...

you should let them know so they can fix the issues with any other exhaust systems

looks a little short and off center...could be tucked up higher as well.

well i email'd them twice prior to getting the exhaust.......and they ignored me....
so i really dont think they'll care about fixing it....cause they make exhaust for 20 different cars...
easier off just going to a shop and readjusting it...

just installed mine and it sounds great. i already had an undercoat and added an extra 3 layers around the rear... i have learned my lessons with resonance. inside the cabin you can barely hear it but outside it is low toned but relatively loud. all in all i am pretty happy, it does hang like the stock one but its bigger so it is lower. it fit my LT bumper well, defenatly line it all up before you clamp it because it will want to sit too short of the bumper, but it has plenty of play to line it up.

ugh i got my tip finnally changed back to my stock one lol that cheapo-depot tip that came with it was nasty... also finally got the hangers fixed so it doesnt hit my heat shield...still the best bargin for a catback

i had the resonator on and it made it sound stock again since i went back to the stock header with lsj dp so i got it removed and now i love it deeeep and its not overly loud either

Ok thats good to know man because I was debating getting the resonator welded on but since i'm completly stock other than a k/n typhoon intake i'll just put it on as is and not worry about the resonator.

see i made a thread in the suggestions part of the forum... saying that we should have an exhaust section (ie like forced induction, wheels tires etc).. but nobody seemed to catch on .... kinda like this one is in the 2.2 section

I'm thinking about buying the kit without the muffler.. although here are my ideas.. Modify the piping so that I can put a y pipe and have dual exit with glass packs and 3" tips. Would that work at all? I'm not even sure if it would work myself..

just cheaper to go to a shop and get it all custom... its kinda overpriced just for piping... theres a guy near me that does a cat back for 120 welded hangers etc.. tip..

shop it around but your local guy who does it out of his garage is the best idea over any mineke or w.e franchise place

I have figured out what exhaust system I will go with

I will buy just the mandrel bent pipes from that site (3")

and use this http://www.performanceexhaustplus.co..._category.html as a resonator

and this muffler http://www.performanceexhaustplus.co..._category.html

sound crazy? I like being different lol, it should have a cool sound

it will be a full 3" exhaust and a clear image header with 1.75" primaries and cat-less DP

might be a little loud, will cost around $380 ish before shipping for those parts

Believe it or not mandrel bends do make a difference. If you can find a shop that has a mandrel bender that yes it will cheaper but they are few and far between.

I would like to see what that set up sounds like. The one above (to me) does sound raspy/high pitched/loud. I want something like my magnaflow cat-back in 3". It was nice and deep at idle and wasn't to loud when you get on it. I think the resonator makes a world of difference as fare as pitch. I think I will end up ordering the pipes aswell and just recreating the magnaflow cat-back in a 3". I hope the next town I end up on has a place with a mandrel mender and save some cash.

I just did my exhaust on my 2.2 and I did a 2.25" pipe right after the rear o2 sensor and then ran it to the Magnaflow Exhaust with a 3" tip and it sounds really good!

umm as for SS/SC that's been lowered...like mine 1.0/1.3' ...the exhaust might not clear 100%
sometimes on bumps i hear my exhaust hitting something...
this does not contain a resonator...i dont know how to upload sounds/video...so theres a megaupload link...hope that isnt gonna be a problem...

Sound/video

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4S5DBD3J

TaTa~
mine did the exact same thing, to the right, and it was touching at the top, and was too short

I unbolted everything and pulled it back as much as I could and now it's not too short anymore
The only problem is where they put the hooks on the muffler. I didn't use the rubber things to hook up the muffler and simply used muffler hooks I got at Canadian Tire for $25

I'm probably gonna go to a local shop and get the hooks moved for it to fit properly

I have to agree with some of the posts questioning the quality of this setup. I got a chance to (was unfortunately stuck) installing one of these this weekend. It kinda sucked. I wasnt impressed with the quality of the weld, or with the hanger placement at all. It takes a fair bit of tweaking to get it to look good. Once again a clear case of you get what you pay for, and in this case maybe a bit less. The pipes were nice, but it just doesnt cut the mustard as a bolt on kit in my mind
