Unhappy Having a terrible time with Trifecta Tune.

I just installed the tune Trifecta sent me for my 2.2. I had them do all the basic stuff plus a rear 02 delete and tuned for my whole exhuast setup

After it installs I start the car. The car is revving from 1200-600rpm back and forth back and forth.

CEL is on.

Oil life went to 0!?

WTF is going on.

I so done with this car. Please help

I dont know..im just so discouraged with this car now. Ive had problems with the exhuast, those ebay headlights, now this. It seems like almost every time I modify something on this car I run into a huge problem.

You just loaded the base tune? havent got any tweaks? if so, easy fix. Just do a data log, and load it into your computer. Email it to vince directly, call him and let him know whatsup. he will go over it, tune it more precisely from the data of your car, then email it back to you and you retune the car!! thats the best thing about his tune, its not a canned or pcm tune. he can actually dial it in exact

I hear ya bro. When modding a car or anything in that matter (the R6 i have is a pain in the ass) things NEVER go as expected...But Vince is a great guy. He stayed contacting me over the phone and email all day just 2 weeks ago to tune my car. we started at 9 30am and didnt finish till 7 30pm cause ZZP's tuned pcm i had screwed up my case relearn and the security features on my car, so when Vince tried to tune it, my car went into shut down mode and wouldnt let me start it....But no matter what the issue was or how long it took Vince got it fixed and the car runs oustanding now.

Well thanks man..that helps a little. I hope we can work things out..I really do. So how do I do a data log? I might as well do that now and wait for his phone call tomorrow.

ummm...i think its the bottom left of the screen. just touch it and hold it for 5 seconds. release, and the datalogging scream comes up. you basically just hit record and stop like a cassette player. I would do one with your car idling for a few minutes...untill you see the data numbers on the gt tuner not changing or going higher anymore. then start another data log of just cruising and granny shifting. stop and start another one of haul assing..haha

oh, and after you finished. hit done, go to the main screen, hold the top right corner of the screen for 5 seconds. there is a save all or save and continue button. something like that. click that and itll take a moment, and bring you to the main screen again. Then connect it to your computer, upload and email!!

Yeah, the one time we leave town for a couple days, something always happens. Lol

It looks like this ECM is going through some re-learning. It is unusual for a custom tune to cause the ECM to forget all learned parameters but that appears to have happened here.

I don't have this product, but from what I've read on these boards Vince is very good with helping customers with issues and tweaking your tune so that it works right. I hope once you can get in touch with him that this will be resolved.

He's just out of the shop for the week. Do as others said (datalog and email) and he'll get in touch with you.

Vince is great, I felt like I was spending SO much of his time when he was helping me tune the 2.4 that I didn't know how he was doing anything else, but, surprisingly, he was.

Every little nick we hit along the way in the tune, he had an instant fix for. The guy knows his **** and has phenomenal customer service. I'm so glad I went that route.

Agreed with everyone else. Vince is great. One of the few lucky enough to have him within 280 miles.
