Header/Downpipe Options
Ok so here's the deal I m at the point where I have just about every bolt-on available for my L61 so I need some opinions on what kind of header/downpipe everybody likes. I already know what I want for an exhaust I m going to have one custom bent because I can not justify paying $300-$700 for a pre-fabd catback exhaust. What I plan on doing is getting a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with prob a magnaflow muffler and a 2.5" tip because that's the other thing I can't stand is those huge fart can tips that come with the pr-fabd catbacks. Alright so here's the criteria I m looking for 1.5" primaries for the header, and a 2.5" downpipe w/ highflow cat. So I m open to all opinions. Discuss.

I'm in the same boat as you for exhaust, but I'm thinking a borla muffler, the ones i've heard sound great. and though they are rather expensive new, i've found a lot of them on good 'ol ebay for reasonable prices, some are even wholesalers selling new for 1/2 price or so, and I have not qualms about bringing my own muffler into the exhaust shop.
My question to you and anyone else is, will I EVER notice a difference if it's not mandrel bent?
