Depends on other mods, most cars will be 8-12 HP

Direct bolt up to the GMPP exhuast.

Comes with the gasket between the header and the downpipe. The other gaskets are reusable.

You can do any exhaust without a tune, you dont need a tune for a header install.

you can do cold air intake. (i think k&n makes one with sai)
a 2.4L manifold and throttle body
and you could do cat back exhaust.
but you wont see any dramatic gain unles you get the header and dp becaust its so restrictive.

i know i wanna do that. im taking my rims off soon. but only thing stopping me is i heard that after 1 or 2 years with sportlines you have to replace the shocks and koni shocks are 700 bux. my friend got prolines and i dont like how it looks. i want sportlines.
that and i have to figure out if my car still vibrates after i take my rims off because it does it bad right now when i brake
when i get my rims off im guna get an alignment after and all that.

You may be lucky and they may last more than 2 years or you may be very unlucky and they last less than a year. Mine have been on for a little over a year now and they are still just fine. You don't have to get Koni's. You can get KYB GR-2's which are ~$205 shipped (they are about equal to FE3 suspension...slight upgrade for you), you can also get SS/SC or SS/TC struts and shocks...the SS/TC from GMPD are ~$305 shipped which is a hell of a deal. Lastly, the Koni's which are ~$600-700.

Your buddy has Pro-kit, not Proline...Proline is a manufacturer of wheels for Pepboys or traxxas and what not depending on which Proline you are talking about.

Your brakes (more specifically rotors are probably bad)...having the aftermarket wheels enhances the vibration that you feel...it could also just be those little metal clips that hold the rotors in place. Remove those if you haven't already. After that, check out your rotors and pads...probably have to replace them. No point in getting an alignment if you want Sportlines...get the springs and then get an alignment...

Best bet for you is just to save some money...any way you want to go, you're going to spend a lot more than you are looking to spend....so, save money until you can get your Sportlines, shocks/struts, alignment, rotors and pads. Or, save money until you can afford to get a full exhaust and a tune to get rid of SAI...full exhaust meaning header/dp, cat-back. Plan on saving at least $1000 before you do anything else to your car.

There are clips on the rear drums? I didn't notice any on mine ever. I am second owner though....bought the car with 12k miles on it.

yeah pro kit lol i thought they were proline as i saw that on another forum i think it was.
yeah and i have no clue with the clips and all. im taking the rims off soon. so idk if i should have the shop i take it to take the clips off or what. and i mean im not going to lower yet. i wanna get an exhaust next year just because i wanna save my money because im always spending it. i mean i have the money for a exhaust and springs and stuff im just not going to do anything more major to my car seeing winter is coming up
and im really not sure if i wanna go and mess around with a tune and all that.
and when i go to take my rims off im going to have where ever i take it to look at the brakes and rotors and all that. and see the condition of them.
do u have a link to the ss/tc shocks and struts.

i managed to find this
http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P2433C188.aspx

which isnt bad.

I think you're either confused or talking about something else entirely. The clips that are being talked about hold the rotors in place on the studs...they are little metal round clips.

Yeah little metal round clips that hold the rear drums on from assembly before the wheels are put onto the car,I removed them from mine last weekend from the rear drums because everytime i hit the brakes I got an insane vibration that felt like my car was going to fall apart, clips removed problem fixed,I dont have ANY on my front rotors.

All I will say is strange...didn't know the drums needed something like that to hold them in place...only the rotors.

There's no link to the specific parts...do a search...the parts numbers are in the suspension sticky here...post #11 I believe...then go type them in at GMPD...the parts are about $305 shipped (shipping differs depending on where you live).

Thanks for posting that Mr. Nooblar. I didn't want to go look up the numbers. Can I ask, what did you pay total to give the person asking an idea of cost.
