oh you could....but it would be next to pointless as you arent really heating up your air charge to begin with like we are in FI cars....i think it would be a biiigg waste of money

The heat exchanger is to remove heat from the intake after a blower or turbo (FMIC)... You have no reason for that mod!

So it would be pointless because it won't do anything!

honestly the way i look at it is this... even with a 2.2 the only complaint about the front fascia is theres no way for air to truly to get to your CAI.... it cant really get through under the headlight where a CAI would be.... thats the problem with the Ls/Lt bumpers.... so i think for you to really see a impact i would switch to an ss bumper.... lip or no lip... thats your choice... but i know that i will be doing this soon enough

A heat enchanger removes heat from the incoming air charge. If you are sucking in air from the outside, you would be removing no heat as the air that would cool the exchanger is the outside air.

Intercoolers are used with forced induction, as the air gets compressed, it gets hotter (Theremodynamics). Example. outside air at 80F is sucked in and pressurized to 15 psi, its now 160F, the intercooler pulls heat from this air making it 120F.

On a non forced induction car, it would suck air in at 80F, not cool that air because air outside is the same, resulting in 80F air into the engine. What it will do is cost money, reduce airflow to the engine, and add weight to the car.

Well said. I would also love to know how you would hook it up to your intake piping. You would either need the intake manifold from an SS/SC which uses luminovas or purchase an aftermarket one that goes before your TB.
