HELP! Airbox mod(cone filter size)
Ther was a thread with pics on a air box mod how to,I can not find it, if no can help what size cone filter should be used for this application. thanks

I found a thread on another form but it was not the correct cone size it was for the ss/sc and they have a different setup than us.

Mason Im a little bored right now, so I tell you what Im going to get out my airbox and fiddle with cutting it for you, then all you have to do is take it with you go see the guys at mopac on kingsway and get a filter anf fittement for it

Okay the only cuttin you have to do is the top of my air box and that is it I dont think I have a dremal around but ill try in the next day or so, if you want it right away you would have to come to delta and get it cause im about to start my weird ass work schedule, this is going to work great I wish I would have gone this route,

I got my grinder Ill have it ready for you tommorro that way you dont have to take yours off to show the parts guy, when its done ill let ya know. I would do it now but I dont think my neighbors will like it. or you can wait till thurs and we can meet up and ill put it togrther for you, you know the starbucks we were at well there is alordco across the street, we could hook it up there?

i got my filter from lordco anyways ill see if i can get a refund tomorrow

Get the refund and unless you can get a good fitting cone wait to later this week and we can do it inone shot, the cone should be 3inches to squeze it in for a tight fit, since the box is a hard plastic there will be no sence in getting a braket, I just measured it so it is accurate
