yea....given that the tune is MAF based, and the MAF will be multiplying the temperature after the compression with the volume before compression, it's going to see a lot less airflow than there actually is, and will make you run lean. Im sure Vince has a tune for this though, as he has already tuned for these setups previously (maybe reference the ambient temp sensor, as its very close to IAT1?).

Talking

Casey is right.

I talked with Vince about this before I decided to order parts. Vince says I will need a retune. So I figured since it will need retune I will get a CAI and I will see if I want to drop to 2.8 once I see the temps.

definitely makes sense. BTW, the next time you talk to him, ask him about releasing customer-tuning software.

u going to drop to a 2.5 map? im considering going with the 2bar from ZZP but idk if that would help in anyway in seeing IAT2's...idk...i'd rather have a gauge that show me digitally what it is :p i dont mind tapping a 1/8" fitting on my manifold, hell i wouldnt have too, i'd tee with the current map sensor hole:p

Everyone quit debating it and go 2.8. I had a stock pulley for nearly 7 months and got bored. Went 2.8 and felt the excitement all ov again. If you're worried about your engine then you shouldn't have ever supercharged your car. I'm installing the 60s I have in my room soon and going with a 60/40 meth setup. I haven't fully finished it caus I need a retune but onc I get my new relay for the meth I'll be done and able to retune.

Even after this I have am still power hungry. I have more plans to come for my balt! Get on those 2.8s or gtfo :p

Oh yea, and BOOST gets you laid! so do it! 2.8
at least thats how it started last night...."lets go for a ride in your car"
lmfao.

nice jn2 i see you found the same thing i bought a week ago along with my prosport gauges.
btw everyone...this is where i bought mine from. was kinda gonna keep it hush hush till i got it and installed it but seems you found it too.
http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...F-p-18563.html

i bought the blue black one, and also have a water temperature that will be going in right before the entry hose on my dual pass.
that way i can compare my water temps to iats.
i didn't want to mess with rewiring my bar map sensor.
the brand is nordskog.
have at it guys!

i got a little ice factory in there filled with polar bears and eskimos.

lmao, dual pass, cobra h/e, stock h/e, and meth, that isn't really turned on anyways due to tuning/need a new relay.

i had opt b, but its worthless so i got rid of but i may put it back if i get bored, and so is the stu mod as jn2 now knows.

your best bet at cooling our cars is a good h/e with a lot of area. that way it cools the coolant to ambient air temp the best. i'm going to be getting cry02 soon as well.

Jn2, yes, I'm doing the 2.5 LSJ map. I have the map, the connector and the Injen intake so I will be working on it this weekend.
