It is normal fellas, cause when i test drove my 5sp manual i asked the dealer about it, cause mine is SS but not charged. i was like is it turbo charged cause i do hear a lil hissing going on. and hes like no its from the exhaust, with a newer car and the heat expanding. and when you get out you hear ticking a little bit, that is when it is contracting. give it time it will eventually go away. Not only that my fiances LS does the same exact thing, and hers is auto... its natural

I have 7,500 miles. dealer said with this car it will do it til about 20-25,000 miles. until its completely warn in. my fiance's car has 19K on it, and it doesnt hiss as loud as mine. so enjoy the "turbo sound" while you got it lol

I know what your talking about. The hissing sound.. Its coming from the intake. Its not bad at all. What ur hearing is the air being sucked in through the throttle body. I hear the same thing. Dont worry about it. I think it sounds cool myself cause it has that turbo sound to it.

I had a high flow K&N Filter on mine...and everyone at my school thought it was a Turbo...just save yourself the time and money, and get a rear mount turbo at 8 psi. I ripped mine of a 97 Eclipse and for 600$ had pipes bent for it. My 06 2.2L run pretty quick. Also, you dont need an intercooler b/c of rear mount, just saves more money, and its a sleeper
