How do I turn traction control off?

Does anyone know how to turn off the traction control in the 2.2L Automatic Coupe? I have looked for a button but cannot find one.

Thanks,

the only way i know to turn it off is to pull the parking brake up to the first click which causes repeated dinging/warning light, or put your shifter in the "1" position. those are the only ways i know how....anyone else care to answer?

It should be fine if you not doing it all the time and winding out every gear. Leaving it in D will be smoother though.

I've been having the same problem. It's hard to do burn outs or even whip up some snow in an auto cause the damn TC comes on at the end of first gear and kills power.

I'm gonna try the parking brake trick and see where that gets me .

That's what I do at the track in the Trans Am.
Automatic, and I shift it myself.
