how can i fine out if hpt will work on my 08 hhr 2.2 ECU

Plug it in and see if it reads it. But there is not guarantee that you will be able to modify your parameters of the ECU if it does read it.

It's not listed on HPT's website as a supported vehicle, but the 08 Cobalt 2.2 is. You may want to go over to the HPT forums to ask...

Find someone close and ask them to read it, it will tell you right away if you can or can't. It costs them and you nothing to try.

i belive you all the way .there just not anyone here that do this kind of work so i'm hoping to find someone who have done it or have hpt so i can see. $500. is alot of money to spend and can't use hpt . thanks for the help

Make a post in your regional section about this. There are def tuners around you with HPT..

ok i will , jay from hpt are trying to help me. he said if my ecu was a e37 it would work thats where i am i will post and see what shack out. thanks gbk
