........Its not the MAF and its not the fuel fitler and its not the throttlebody.....Only thing left is Vinces 2 bar tune is bad....

For the hell of it I took the car out and sure enough shortly after a pull in boost the car died, I was able to restart it for a second and it died again, 3 rd attempt It started and I was able to get home.

I emailed Vince even though hes on vacation stressing that time is short between my return to school on the 22nd and his business returning from vacation on the 17th, I just hope he answers and can get me that 1 bar tune.

Right now, Im going to attempt to hook up the stock 1 bar and see what happens.

I forgot to say, that once in a while my map sensor gets funny when weather comes in or sometimes the map sensor even just quits working. The car get hard to drive wont give fuel and on the first cold start will die. Im using the stock 1bar.

I found the problem, it was the 2 bar, I put the stock one bar in and it runs like a champ (oddly enough) Runs a little rich a wot, but it pulls just need a retune to lean it out.

I told you it was the MAP when this first started happening. MAPs are the most overlooked problem on hard starts.

kinda.
we have that spark plug pack.

first 2 years 05 and 06 they used the spark pack design (im forgetting the proper name right now, it will come to me) at the very end of 06 they changed to a different design.

Im not really much of a mechanic especially when it comes to cobalts so please take this for what its worth.

I am wondering if the injectors you used are too great for the demand and maybe you are flooding your engine with gas.

MAF from personal experience usually makes the engine rev to try and keep it alive so I wouldnt see why it would run perfect for 30 minutes then die if its MAF sensor related it would start revving to about 3k probably and just running like total crap.

Also did you check vacuum lines to make sure you didnt forget to plug on or hook one up.

Could just be the gas too. Those octane boosters dont work for ****, they are a hoax just like many of the low end fuel cleaners too. If there is one thing I have learned in the modding business most of the time, not all the time, the more the cost the better the product.

Just some things you could check over to make sure they are working correctly.

Also you might just look into getting a tune. Your computer might be telling it to be killed because of the added air or something so a dyno tune could be needed. Are you running 14.8 AF ratio when in peak boost?

Dont worry about it man, I figured it out last week, it was in fact the zzp 2 bar map, my car did not like it lol. I put the stock 1 bar in and it drives perfect now.
