depends if you want to run high impedence injectors. Also depends if anything else is going to change with them. Why do you want to put bigger injectors in?

You cannot run bigger injectors without tuning. What happens is the car has a tune, and it sends out a pulse width of X, which on our stock 24lb injectors is Y amount of fuel, but when you send the same X pulse width to a larger injector, its going to send out wayyy more then Y amount of fuel because the injector is bigger. So with that said, your car is going to run like CRAP. I wouldnt recommend it because yellowshowbalt did it and just blew his engine. You will run insanely rich which will cause your car to detonate and result in a blow motor. Tune it with a AEM FIC if you want larger injectors.

Any chance you have pics of your set up before or if it isnt tore down to post on your last post in the dyno thread?

Also what are you going to do with your kit?

You don't necessarily have to tune through the pulsewidth. You can tune through the pressure with an aftermarket pressure regulator. True tuning through the pulsewidth is a better method, but say you just did some headwork, added cams, etc and wanted to add a little more fuel. You wouldn't need to spend all the money on an afc. All you would have to do is put a slightly higher volume injector in and regulate the pressure manually for a desireable a/f ratio. The only thing that would cause a problem is if you were switching from high impedence injectors to low or vice versa.

That is true, but you also have to remember that a larger injector in itself is not going to work properly on our cars without tuning. If you want more fuel by using a FMU(Fuel Management Unit to those who dont know) which alters your fuel pressure, you need to have a Return style fuel system, which we dont have. Aeromotive makes a DFMU that works for returnless systems but its not worth the trouble IMO. It costs about $600 for the kit and its really hard to tune.

I have pics of the turbo setup on my buddy's computer, also have a video of the engine bay i can get uploaded at some point. Hard to find that kinda time right now... I will have new pics of the new setup tho, which is a lot more exciting then the old one

The turbo kit is already sold to my buddy whos got a White 06 LS. We are going to be throwing it on his car any weekend now, he just works 6 days a week and its hard to find time to get his car apart.

lol. if it wasn't so easy to run a return line it could be a problem. Just run some fuel line from the regulator to your tank and bam, you have a return style fuel system.

Also the only tuning required to change and injector is if you're changing to a different impedence injector. Otherwise there's no difference other than the amount of volume it flows.
