Injen CAI installed

I put my Injen CAI in about a month ago and i can feel the difference. I raced a kid ironically he had the same exact car but he had n AEM CAI. I would recommend Injen over any.

Just click on them for a bigger pic.

i think it was more of a drivers race if you had similar mods

no way you beat him just because you had injen and he had aem..

well there's your win right there. Wings @dd m4dd d0w^f0rc3 y0

No but seriously, cia is pretty much the pettiest performance upgrade you can get. I wouldn't credit your win to it

you really dont need rear downforce with a FWD car. probably just poor shifting on his part.

I personally like the injen myself. However performance gains are very similar to any other intake out there.

If it's so "petty", then why is it the most common mod on a car? Why do people shell out upwards of $250 for it? Yeah, 3-4 hp may be "petty", but I don't think the mod itself is petty. You're basically calling it a waste of money.

Because people will buy into anything that's under $500 and will give them a "horsepower gain". I believe it's a waste of money, yes. If your goal is horsepower, then your money is better spent on some kind of forced induction. In that case, say a nitrous kit for example, then I would say it was a good call since you want the different tubing to tap your nozzles into. But on a stock car, it's a waste of money (unless your goal is to waste $250 on a faint "whoosh" sound).

because it's the easiest mod to do. hp is expensive. A cai is just a cheap easy couple of hp. $250 isn't that much. Look at some people paying $300-$500 for a header or 500-700 for an exhaust. Hell look at a turbo kit that costs 3k. Even a nitrous kit is gonna cost you around 4-700.

The cheapest way to make power is to add f/i. period. 3k can get you at least 50-60whp increase and leave alot of room for improvement with little money. Just most people don't have 3k lying around plus installation/tuning costs since there are alot of people that don't know how to properly install/tune f/i.

You can always just put a breather filter over the SAI hookup.

K&N is the only intake that has the SAI hookup
